PRF is an injectable treatment for both men and women and can be administered anywhere on the face! PRF stands for “platelet-rich fibrin” which is removed from the patient’s own blood and used to help slow the process of aging by stimulating collagen production and regenerating components for healthy skin.

What to expect from treatment:

For all PRF treatments, your blood will be drawn and then spun to remove the plasma. Depending on the treatment, the plasma will be injected into the areas being treated or microneedled into the skin.

For best results, most people are recommended to have at least 3 treatments about 6 weeks apart. Although the results are worth it, expect a bit of downtime and about 3-5 days of swelling post-treatment.

When applied as an add-on to microneedling, PRF can help with achieving a healthier glow and more rejuvenated skin all over. However, PRF is commonly injected for more targeted treatment in certain areas as well. A few commonly treated areas include thin skin areas, under the eyes, and in the nasal labial folds. In some cases, Co-founder Amy Nguyen prefers to do PRF in nasal labial folds even more than filler since it can produce improvements in the area without adding extra volume.
