The purpose is to have no hair left at all although some clients prefer to leave a small section of hair on the pubic mound, otherwise known as the mons pubis.
Which one is right for me?
The answer to this question is completely up to you. Factors you may want to consider are comfort, skin sensitivity, upkeep, and cost. As it removes more hair and is a more in-depth service, a Brazilian wax costs more than a bikini wax. Your desire to shave/trim or not may also play a role in your decision-making process. Additionally, waxing can be a great way to avoid ingrown hairs and irritation so determining if you have sensitive skin in the entire area, or just the bikini area, might also be helpful in choosing.
