Moxi Laser: A Gentle Glow Treatment That Works

What does Moxi treat?

Moxi is known for something called “prejuvenation.” It targets and treats mild hyperpigmentation to prevent aging and rejuvenate the appearance of your skin. With Moxi, there is no “physical downtime” as it is not a deep resurfacing treatment. We call it “social downtime” as you’ll need a few makeup-free days and will experience some redness. Realistically, it will look and feel like a solid sunburn. However, in just a few short days, it reveals rejuvenated, brightened skin that makes it so worth it. 

What to expect at your first Moxi laser treatment

If you’re anxious about your first treatment, no worries! We’ll do a personal assessment and walk you through everything so that you’re informed, confident, and comfortable with the treatment when it happens. Deeper skin types on the Fitzpatrick Scale may feel the laser a bit more. However, we offer the use of a device called a Zimmer chiller to anyone who would like it. The Zimmer chiller cools the skin and helps to make guests feel as comfortable as possible. 

Moxi treatments last under 30 minutes and reveal results in about 5-7 days. For best results, we typically recommend about 3-4 treatments, 4 weeks apart from one another. It’s also imperative to let your skin go through its full healing process without picking at scabbing or MENDS. This can cause scarring and prevent good results. Moxi is best for those in the more preventative stages of aging, but over time, it can help with mild texture and laxity concerns.
